I came to the UK in March on a two year Spouse Visa. Do I have to wait before applying for indefinite leave to remain or can I apply now?
I came to the UK in March 2008 on a two year Spouse Visa. My wife and son are British born and we married in 2001. We all spent more than five years in Pakistan. My question is, do I need to wait prior to applying for indefinite leave to remain or can I apply now?
If you have been together for four years or more outside the UK you will be granted indefinite leave to remain (permanent residence) in the UK without having to live in the UK for two years.
